Meet Mona

Mona McCrea

Mona is an experienced Marine Zoologist (BSc Hons) and Environmental Scientist (MSc). She is passionate about the marine environment and moved her focus to children's education, founding SEASHOREKIDS in 2014. Her aim is to make Marine Biology accessible and fun to kids (and adults) of all ages.

Being an island, we are never far from the sea. Mona's ambition is to develop children's interest in the marine environment, giving them a lifelong curiosity and appreciation for marine life and thereby fostering wider environmental awareness.
